Location determined from illustration of the White Hart in Thomas Hosmer Shepherd's "London and its environs in the nineteenth century : illustrated by a series of views from original drawings" Edward Callow, in his 1901 book, "Old London Taverns Historical, Descriptive and Reminiscent, with Some Account of the Coffee Houses, Clubs, Etc," writes "The name of the White Hart has been quite ignored by the present proprietor, and the figores '199' [address] are all the sign he condescends to put up in large figures on the windows."
